Life Cycle Engineering (LCE)
focuses on the network engineering design, network hardware
and network running software over their complete life cycle,
life cycle costs, products' longevity and reliability, products'
end-of-life and other sustainability aspects like emerging
new network products and technologies. All these aspects of
LCE process are closely linked and provide critical information’s
for the necessary changes and upgrades.

by a network's dedicated engineering expert as follows:
i. Perform Network
Engineering Designs based upon new and evolving Customer
requirements, which entails revising and/or changing the
existing network design package:
a. Correct network
requirements and design flaws.
b. Improve customer network design.
ii.
Review the physical and logical network design to
ensure ongoing and new network objectives are in compliance
with the Customer requirements and goals.
iii. Synthesize Customer's
Network requirements for Performance, Security, Capacity,and
Scalability, and other Customer's major goals during the
network's life-cycle.
iv. Present to the Customer
new Network products and services as they become available
in order to increase network performance.
v. Maintain Network documentation
by updating complete network topology/connectivity maps,
engineering orders, configuration parameters, hardware and
software inventories.
vi. Work in detail with the Customer
Account Team on all ongoing network change proposals.
vii. Perform all Network Add, Move,
and Change modifications for Hub Sites as well as
for Remote Sites related with:
a. Layer 1, 2 and
3 parameters.
b. Routing Protocols.
c. Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) -
Hardware & Software (HW/SW)
configurations.
viii. Make recommendations
on routing layer protocols, addressing scheme, connectivity
specifications, and physical topology.
ix. Review Network Performance Mangement
Reports making recommendations on improving the overall
network health or potential network problems.
x. Perform new Process implementation:
a. Develop Network
Maintenance plans and procedures.
b. Develop options for implementing the
network’s modification.
c. Obtain approval for network modification
options.
d. Perform detailed analysis of the network.
e. Develop and test all network modification.
f. Establish procedures for network’s
modification requests.
g. Obtain approval for all network’s

h. Implement the Network Configuration
